Who operates this Site
FHAExpressLoans.com (the "Site") is an independent educational website about FHA-insured home loans, operated by Matthew Brown, Sr. Loan Originator / Mortgage Broker, NMLS #1254520. The Site is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit the Site or contact Matthew through it. By using the Site, you accept the practices described below; if you don't, please don't use the Site or submit information through it.
This policy covers this Site only. Linked websites — including the online loan application and the scheduling service — are governed by their own privacy policies.
What the contact form collects and where it goes
If you submit the contact form, the Site collects the information you enter, which may include:
- Name, phone number, and email address
- The state where the property is located
- The goal you select (for example, buying a first home or refinancing)
- Anything you type into the details field
- The Site page where the form was submitted
Submissions are handled by Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered by email to Matthew Brown only. Formspree processes the data under its own terms and privacy policy. Your information is not sold, rented, or added to lead lists. It is used to answer your inquiry and to follow up by phone, text, or email about your request.
Information you share by calling, texting, emailing, or scheduling a consultation is used the same way.
Express Check tools stay in your browser
Several pages offer Express Checks — short yes / no / not sure self-check questionnaires. They run entirely within your web browser. Your answers are not stored by the Site or transmitted anywhere, and they're cleared when you reload or leave the page.
After you finish a self-check, its result heading may be placed in the contact form's details field on that page for convenience. It is only sent if you choose to submit the form, and you can change or delete it first. If analytics are active, the Site may record that a self-check was completed and its general result category — never your individual answers.
Please don't send sensitive information
Don't submit Social Security numbers, bank or card account numbers, dates of birth, tax returns, or pay stubs through the contact form, by text, or by ordinary email. If you decide to apply for a loan, you'll be directed to a secure application where required information can be provided properly.
Analytics and cookies
The Site uses Google Analytics to understand how it's used — for example, pages viewed, how visitors arrive, approximate city- or region-level location, device and browser type, and clicks on phone, email, scheduling, and pre-approval links. Google Analytics relies on cookies and similar technologies, and Google processes the data under its own policies.
This information is reviewed in aggregate to improve the Site and is not used to identify you personally.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies won't stop you from reading the Site.
Third-party sites and limited sharing
The Site links to outside websites and services, including the pre-approval application at plus.preapp1003.com, Calendly for scheduling, Matt.Mortgage (Matthew's main website), government sites such as HUD.gov and NMLS Consumer Access, and related educational sites. Anything you provide on those sites is governed by their policies, not this one. Loan applications also come with the privacy notices required by law from the mortgage company processing the application.
Personal information collected through the Site is not sold. It may be shared only as needed to respond to you or provide what you ask for — for example, with service providers that run the Site's form handling and analytics, or with the mortgage company that processes your application if you choose to apply — and when disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or property.
Security, children, your choices, and updates
Security. The Site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections and other reasonable safeguards. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security can't be promised.
Children. The Site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Information from children under 13 is not knowingly collected; if you believe a child has submitted information, please get in touch so it can be deleted.
Your choices. You can ask to update or delete your contact information, or to stop receiving follow-up, using the contact details below. Some records may be kept where the law requires.
Updates. This policy may change from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
